Cranio-Sacral Osteopathy
The craniosacral system comprises the outer and inner structures of the skull (cranium) and the entire spine including the sacrum. As a whole it influences all parts of the nervous system, the hormonal system, all muscle types and thus the most crucial, life-affirming functions of our body and psyche. At the core the cerebrospinal fluid manifests in movement at various wavelengths, protecting the brain and the spinal chord.
The cranial wave is an intelligent form of communication as revealing as the radial pulse for the acupuncturist.
Soft, mindful touch allows
for a way from the outside to the inside towards inner silence.
Unwinding what is tied, creating structure where chaos is.
Craniosacral work emerged from the foundations of osteopathy and connects an anatomical focus with various manual approaches from bodywork.
It can be applied for a wide range of symptoms:
- headaches (migraine), restrictions of the spine in all its aspects, chronic fatigue,
- changes in motor coordination, after accidents or operations
- dysfunction in the temporomandibular joints (TMD), jaw, teeth and mouth area in general, tinnitus,
- to support women through pregnancy and after childbirth
- and in the realm of the soul to accompany inner, biographical and psychotherapeutical processes
Some days there will be no song in your heart.
Sing anyway.
